  • A healthy diet will depend on many factors such as your age, lifestyle and individual dietary requirements. The Eatwell Guide is used here in the UK and contains national guidelines suitable for most people

  • Looking at what we eat

    By keeping a food diary for a week, we can look at what we eat and see the types of foods that make up our diets. Be honest in recording what you eat as this will help you to see exactly what you are eating and where you can make changes.  

    Some things we consume are not necessarily considered healthy choices and we should still be able to eat things we enjoy. If we increase the foods that are considered healthier choices and reduce our intake of those that are not then this is a positive step! 

    There are some useful tips online that can help us make those choices, I've included a link below that includes a handy app you can download to your phone and use when you are out shopping.
