Couldn't agree more....this one is all about the strength of the melodies. This is so effortlessly tune-packed it rattles past with never a dull moment.
'New Slang' is certainly the highlight and must have come to more attention somehow before as I'd definitely heard it; I'm guessing through its presence on indie flick soundtracks or its status as a cult classic.
Quintessentially indie indeed, the world of The Shins seems a happy place to explore.
