This week we will be looking at the 5 pathway COMPASSION.

You will need to bring:

·         Your notepad or journal

·         Tools for drawing such as a pencil or pencil

·         A chopping board, plate, or piece of kitchen towel

·         An apple

·         A small stick

·         A small handful of sunflower seeds

·         A piece of string

·         Optional – an apple corer

Please let us know if you these items are difficult for you to get and we can arrange to post some to you.

During this session we will:

·         Complete a grounding activity together – building on what we have been doing the previous weeks.

·         Share the completed take home activity (optional).

·         Explore ways that we can be compassionate towards ourselves, each-other and nature.  

·         Make a bird feeder from an apple. 

·         Reflect on how these activities help our wellbeing and develop our connection to nature.

Take home activity for this week (to be completed in between session 4 and 5): Do 1 thing for yourself and 1 thing for nature. Write down or create something in your journal to represent what you did.

Watch your bird feeder – note down if you see any birds visiting.
